Hello, beautiful readers! For this week's What Do You See? prompt, Sadje shares two images and asks us to let them inspire us. I chose the image below and decided to write a tanka poem. I had a busy weekend filled with activities with family and friends. This image reminded me of the power of framily (family and friends and friends who are like family).

shadows cut off light
an overwhelming presence
two dandelions
their brightness happily shared
brilliant even in the shade

This is so true that light and dark are always vying with each other for prominence. A beautiful tanka. Thanks for joining in.
