Hello, beautiful readers! For this week's Moonwashed Weekly Prompt, Eugi invites us to use the gorgeous image above or any of the words in the poem below to inspire us to write our own poem. Here is her poem:
softly the sun beckons
where it may go
springtime mellow serenades
I chose to write a haiku, which consists of three lines with a 5-7-5 syllabic pattern. Haikus are written about nature or the seasons. They are not titled and do not rhyme. I've bolded and italicized the words I chose to use.
