Hello, beautiful readers! For this week's #TankaTuesday Weekly Poetry Challenge, Colleen Chesebro provided us with a list of words and asked us to use 3-5 words from the list to create a shadorma. A shadorma is a six-line poem with the syllabic pattern of 3-5-3-3-7-5.

Have you ever enjoyed hot springs? I'd love to hear about your experience.
What a lovely poem, Yvette. I've never had the pleasure of visiting a hot spring, but do enjoy a good salt bath now and again.
ReplyDeleteOn our Arizona trip, we went on a 12-mile kayak trip from the Hoover Dam down the Colorado River. We stopped at several locations, two of which had hot springs of various temperatures. It was so relaxing and soothing, especially since I had a twisted ankle. Thanks for stopping by, Jan! :-)

DeleteI like how you say 'toxins escape' rather than your own escape 😀
ReplyDeleteHaha! I am always looking for ways to release the toxins being stored in my body. I guess it was on my mind that day. Thanks for noticing that, Reena! :-)
DeleteHot spring, Yve, wonderful. It’s a game changer. Your poem is splendid. So glad I read. Thanks so much. Splendid indeed.

DeleteYvi, this is so lovely. I bet the hot springs were magnificent. I miss my baths. We don't have a tub in this house. 🩵
ReplyDeleteI am not really a bath person, but I loved the hot springs. It was the day after I sprung my ankle, and the hot springs and then the cool river water felt so therapeutic! I appreciate you sharing your thoughts with me, Colleen! Thanks for visiting! :-)
Delete(Jules) No hot springs... just hot tubs... and my gym has a Eucalyptus sauna.
ReplyDeleteSometimes a nice bath with epsom salts will have to do :D
A Eucalyptus sauna sounds awesome! Thanks for sharing and visiting, Jules! :-)
DeleteI love this, Yvette. I have been wanting to visit a hot spring and have a place and motel out an hour away. I may have to go do it soon or for a special occasion.
ReplyDeleteGo for it, Denise! I will definitely visit them again one day. Thanks for visiting! :-)
