Hello, beautiful readers! I cannot believe how busy this week has been for me, and the next several weeks will be just as busy, so I don't know how much I'll be posting this month. Since I was the host of this week's #TankaTuesday, I had to make time to participate. Lol! This week, I encouraged everyone to write about resilience. My poem is short because it's Monday and the challenge ends today, but at least, I was able to write something.

We are just preparing to enter into our wildfire season. Fortunately we had record snowfall this year, so I am hoping it won't be as bad as it usually is. Wonderful verse, Yvette.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Violet! I hope the forests stay saturated and don't burn this year. I appreciate your visit. :-)
DeleteYes indeed, mother nature recovers, and yes, time heals!
ReplyDeleteSo true, Paul! Thank you for visiting. :-)
DeleteNature is resilient.....Rall
ReplyDeleteIt sure it! I appreciate you stopping by, Rall! :-)
DeleteI just read that the Everglades are on fire. Florida has a drought. It's a shame. I hope the wetlands find a way to come back.
ReplyDeleteI saw that, too, Colleen! It always makes me so sad for the animals that call that habitat their home. Thanks for visiting! :-)
DeleteI know there are too many forrest fires. There seems to be a recurring one - especially when it is dry in NJ, where our neice lives. While far from her - on can often see the smoke in the sky.
ReplyDeleteI have seen in my travels areas where there was a fire and the area is slowly recovering. So that is good.
Stay well and enjoy the end of the school year :)
Thank you, Jules! I am looking forward to the end of the school year. Thanks for stopping by. :-)
