Hello, beautiful readers! It's the last week of school, and I'm packing up my classroom and getting ready to turn off my alarm for two months. Truly, turning off my alarm is what I most look forward to during the summer. Lol!

ReplyDeleteI seet that sea turtle moving slowly towards the ocean, excited to let the ocean consume him as the waves take him deeper.

DeleteI remember visiting beaches that had signs to not disturb the turtles nests!
ReplyDeleteIn some states certain turles are illegal to own. Here, Red-eared sliders are considered invasive. To many get these type of 'pets' and then when they aren't wanted drop them off into a local stream. I've seen some sunning in the creek out back!

Yes, turtles are protected in Florida. The nests are identified and barricaded so no one messes with them. I appreciate you visiting, Jules! :-)
