Hello, beautiful readers! I am fully enjoying spring break by waking up without an alarm. Truly, that brings me such joy. I'm also getting caught up on tasks around the house and finding time to hang out with friends.
Today, I'm participating in the #TankaTuesday Poetry Challenge, where Melissa invites us to write a Hautt poem. This form uses a hexastich with a syllabic pattern of 4-5-2-2-5-4 and focuses on wisdom and eternal truth. I chose to focus on wisdom and how experiences leads to being wiser in the future.

ReplyDeleteThank you, Gwen! I appreciate your visit. :-)
DeleteI think to trust our gut we need to have practiced the losses and mistakes enough to have understood them. Trusting your gut is not something I could teach my students.
ReplyDeleteWe get there in the end. Nicely written Yvette 👏
I agree, Shaun! We are shaped by our experiences. Thanks for stopping by. :-)
DeleteLove this! Unfortunately our head and heart don't let us listen to our gut until we have learnt the hard way that we should've trusted ourselves...then we are doubly cautious! 💞
ReplyDeleteSo true, Suzanne! Thanks for visiting! :-)
DeleteYvi, let your intuition guide you! Be safe, my friend. ❤️

DeleteSelf-trust, belief is so critical, yet sadly in decline, I love this call to arrest the decline.
